Challenge

The most complex part was elaborating on a distinctive brand identity that perfectly resonates with the company’s vision and sticking to it across the site. Our team had to create a website that directly immerses the customers into the posh ambiance of vacation by dint of appealing visuals, typography, and color palette. On the functional side, it was crucial to craft the website according to UI/UX principles to make it user-friendly and intuitive, ensuring seamless navigation and making it easy for users to find the perfect tour or premium apartment.

Our team meticulously crafted the brand guidelines that served as the foundation for the UI/UX design. We diligently chose typefaces, picked the color palette, and designed distinctive elements to make the website stand out. The Mermaid Tours visual identity reflects the sea vacations, golden beaches, and
deep emerald color helps to immerse in the luxury vacation atmosphere. Through
the logo, color palette, and typography, The Mermaid Tours acquires a new

development in the field of tourism.

The place of a search box impacts the user experience. For this reason, we placed it
on the hero page, making it more accessible. The users can choose among the
following tabs: Apartment, Holiday, Boat trip, and Diving Tour - and search for free
dates directly in the interested category.

The search results appear within the same window. The user can explore various
options along with prices, dates, and maximum occupancy. After opting for a certain
variant, they will be redirected to the booking page with a more detailed overview.

The calendar design perfectly blends with the website's aesthetic. While searching
for specific tours or apartments, the user can instantly find the available dates, prices,
and booking options. All the essential functionalities are integrated within one page,

Navigation Menu

We opted for a sidebar menu rather than the usual one in the header because of its
simplicity and convenience. Thus, our main screen looks quite clean and minimalistic,
making the navigation on the site intuitive and visually attractive.

Mobile Version

We aimed to convey a sense of luxury alongside an intuitive mobile user experience.
Hence, we retained and adapted all the core features and functionality, enabling a
seamless booking process for tours and apartments.
