Initially, Bearaby requested us to conduct a 40-hour UI/UX audit to identify and rectify bugs that were impacting website performance. After implementing all the fixes, the client decided to hire our senior developer on a part-time basis for three months.

Throughout this period we had to continuously support the tasks, constantly test new pages to uncover bugs and fix them, implement new site pages, features, and workflows, conduct code refactoring, and more.

Finally, we signed the contract for the outstaffing of our developer on a full-time basis for six months. During this period, we contributed to the website optimization, resulting in a high performance of the webshop, and delivered all the required pages without any bugs and inaccuracies.

Challenge

Sustaining multimillion-dollar sales demands considerable flexibility and an ability to adapt to rapid market changes to keep up the leading positions. Having no time to allocate the resources for hiring and onboarding the core senior Shopify developer, the client asked us to outstaff one. We were requested to swiftly deliver the required website pages along with bespoke features to enhance the user experience. We had to test all launched pages to identify the bugs and rectify them, address inaccuracies, and improve performance. Furthermore, we revealed extensive hard coding throughout the website, hindering its accessibility and maintainability.

We identified and rectified 90%+ of bugs and the major inaccuracies, resulting in bug-free web page releases. New pages, functionalities, and features such as quizzes and online weighted blanket calculators were implemented swiftly to keep the leading market positions and drive the number of purchases. We ensured the high performance of the webshop, enhancing user experience and accessibility. Close collaboration with marketing & design teams led to an alignment in promptly implementing website improvements. Our expedited approach to new product page launches helped our client to have a leg up on the market.
